A Colourful Story was a brief set by the International Society of Typographic Designers. The brief was to narrate a story of a single colour – exploring it’s history, meaning and context.

Beige is the most overlooked and under appreciated colour and this is why I made a publication celebrating the colour in all it’s glory. From using undyed fabric for book end pages (the origin of the word beige) to using a swatch book grid system – the book truly celebrates every aspect of the colour.
